A low pressure system moving across the southern appalachian region today will increase winds throughout the area. Southwest winds will shift to the northwest during the day and increase to a sustained level of 10 to 20 mph. By the afternoon, the winds will become gusty with gust of 25 to 35 mph possible. These breezy and gusty winds may blow around unsecured objects. Also, tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may be possible.
